The tour starts form Kathmandu where you will visit numerous temples, monasteries and palaces, many of them are listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also experience some of the oldest cultural celebrations of the ancient valley provided that you have timed your tour to fall on celebration calendars. You will then head to Chitwan to experience the elephant safari inside the chitwan National Park. You will also behold the cultural performances of the Tharu community in the evening. We will conclude our tour on the lap of beautiful Himalayan Mountains by the lakes of Pokhara. It is difficult not to be mesmerized by the beauty of this small town. To add to the excitement, Pokhara also offers unique opportunities for boating paragliding, Zip Flying and cycling.

We will explore every place in and around Lumbini, which are attached to the life of Buddha, Treading every place inside Lumbini the tour also takes you to the maternal home of Gautam Buddha, Devdaha. At Devdaha follow the trails that Buddha treaded ages ago.

Itinerary

Arrive – KATHMANDU:

Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel. Briefing and welcome drinkAfter that transfer to Thamel, a popular tourist district in Kathmandu Valley and a bustling bazaar which offers a glimpse of Nepal’s vibrant ethnic culture.

KATHMANDU – POKHARA (B):

After breakfast transfer to Pokhara (200km).The Annapurna and the famous Machhapucchare (Commonly known as Fishtail Mountain) tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara. Drive takes about 5 hours. This scenic drive will offer great view of local villages, jungle and rivers. Upon reaching Pokhara, check-in hotel.. Evening leisure walk around lake side bazaar.

POKHARA – SARANGKOT – POKHARA (B):

Early morning, drive up to Sarangkot (1200m) sunrise view point for 30 minutes. Expect a very spectacular view of sunrise over the whole Annapurna range including the Machhapucchare of height close to 7000m. After sunrise, drive back to Pokhara for breakfast.Afternoon proceed sight seeing covering Devi’s Fall and Gupteswar Cave, Mahendra cave Tal barahi and Fewa lake. Afternoon free at leisure around lakeside bazaar.

POKHARA-LUMBINI (B):

After breakfast drive to Lumbini (Lord Buddha’s birth place). Drive takes about 6 hours. On the way visit Tansen hill town for short tour around. After that continue drive to Lumbini. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Maya Devi Temple and Ashokan Pillar followed by various Buddhist Temples.

LUMBINI-CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (B,L,D):

After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park covering a pristine area of 932 sq. km is situated in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of southern central part of Nepal. Drive will takes about 2 and half hours. Upon arrival, check in jungle lodge. Welcome drinks followed by briefing and lunch at the lodge. After lunch, Elephant Back Safari. You may come across endangered species of mammals such as the one-horned Rhinoceros. Other wild animals found in the park are hog deer, barking deer, sloth bear, rhesus monkey etc. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Chitwan.

CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK –KATHMANDU-NAGARKOT (B):

After breakfast drive to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. It takes about 6 hours. Nagarkot, the sunrise and sunset from this popular hill resort present you the breathtaking view of the Eastern Himalayan Range including Mt. Everest which can be seen on a clear day. It is a scenic drive with lots of lovely quaint little houses and paddy fields. Upon reaching resort check in. Late afternoon short leisure walk and catch the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.

NAGARKOT- Kathmandu (B):

Awake in the morning to the cold but stunningly spectacular sunrise over Nagarkot Hill. The first ray of the sun firing the peak glimmering red, slowly lighting the Himalaya range. Mt Everest in the far east and Langtang and the Dhaulagiri peak in the west. Explore the beautiful Nagarkot surroundings scenery. After that back to hotel for lunch and after some rest and drive back to Kathmandu Via Bhaktapur. overnight at hotel in kathmandu

KATHMANDU (B):

After breakfast visit . Swayambhunath Stupa, where you can see the whole Kathmandu valley. The Stupa, listed as a World Heritage Site, is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake. After noon visit Patan Durbar Square which is one of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley, famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu Temples. Watch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. After that visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest Stupa built in the fifth century AD. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of Stupa design with hundreds of prayer wheels and 108 small images of Buddha all around. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU – DEPARTURE (B) :

After breakfast transfer to airport for fly out according to your flight schedule.
